Annual General Meeting

Posted on: July 13th, 2018

This Wednesday we held our AGM at The Stocksman, Wigton.

Thank you to all our guests for attending, it was a pleasure to have you there and share with you the work that we do.  We hope you found it interesting and enlightening.

Our annual report gave highlights of all the work and projects we have been involved with in the previous year, and it’s amazing really just how much we do!

We had the usual formal business of the meeting and voted in the Trustees, a little demonstration of belly dancing, presentation from the photography group and then we were treated to a sneak preview of the new training resource that we have been hard at work developing, “How to manage a Healthy Happy Home”. This training pack we have developed will assist support staff and individuals to promote independence and develop their skills; and will be rolled out across the county via skills for care network.

Finally, closing the meeting with a buffet lunch and then our member hit the dance floor for the afternoon.

All in all it was an enjoyable celebration of another successful AGM and year!

As always only made possible by our hardworking staff and the support we receive from our local community and further afield!

So thank you everyone who supports us and here’s to another successful year.
