Each year as part of our fundraising program, to help raise some additional funds, we hold a Christmas Craft Fayre at the Greenhill Wigton, and this year was no exception. Our volunteer fundraisers Anne Studholme and Barbara Stoddart did a fantastic job planning the event and attracted a wide range of Christmas and handicraft stallholders to the event.
Starting at 10am on Sunday morning there was a steady flow of visitors throughout the day, picking up bargains and unique gifts for birthdays and of course their early Christmas shopping!
During the day we also held a raffle which included gift vouchers, chocolates, hampers, pictures etc all kindly donated by local businesses such as WCF, McVitties, Nestle, M & S, Baskets & Bunches, Co-op, to name but a few!
In total we managed to raise an absolutely fantastic amount of £1028.21
I would like to thank everyone who helped to organise the day, all the kind donations of raffles prizes and everyone visited the Greenhill on the day. It was a great day and lovely to see so many of you – thank you for your support.
