This year saw the beginning of our much needed central heating upgrade at Leaside.
Phase 1 of our upgrade saw the replacement of our very old, tired, unreliable boilers; and was completed in September this year. Phase 2 will be the full replacement of the radiators and pipe work which are even older still – most are the original from the 1970s!!
As always this work is only made possible through the grants available and fundraising done by ourselves and others.
A huge thank you to the Joyce Wilkinson Trust and Cumbria Community Foundation for the grant towards the second stage of our central heating upgrade, and also to everyone who continually supports us by organising or attending our fundraising events.
Thanks to all of you we will now hopefully be able to complete the second stage in the summer of 2018.
