Independent Living Manager Job Description

Due to our continued success and development, we are now looking to recruit a dynamic and people focused individual to join our team in supporting people achieve their current needs and aspirations, providing person-centered care on an individualised basis. 

This role requires an individual who can lead and develop our supported living, outreach and support at home service.  You will lead by example, empower and motivate our teams and the people we enable and support.

You will be an agile manager who can multi task, work flexibly and inspire and grow our staff teams and help us achieve our business objectives.

Candidates should have significant experience supporting people within learning disability services and demonstrate commitment, resilience and enthusiasm to the role.  Ideally you will be qualified at Level 5 Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care or willing to work towards.

Full driving licence and access to own vehicle with appropriate business use insurance is essential.

Upto £17,031 pro rata p.a, plus sleepover payment (£47.00 per shift) where applicable.

We are looking for enthusiastic staff to join our team working within our unique 24hr independent living setting on the outskirts of Wigton. Previous experience is preferred but not essential positive values and a willingness to learn and develop through our extensive training opportunities are!

Full driving licence and access to own vehicle with appropriate business use insurance is essential.

Community Activities Support Workers (Ref SW1) 

Up to £16,307 pro rata p.a.

Hours will cover a variety of shifts including days, evenings and weekends.

We are looking for enthusiastic staff to provide creative and enabling support for individuals and have the following posts available:

1 x Full Time Post working at our Wigton Sites

1 x Part Time Post (min 22.5 hrs) / 1 x Full Time (12 Months Maternity Cover) working within our team based on the outskirts of Carlisle

2 x Full Time Posts to work flexible across both Carlisle and Wigton sites.
