VACANCIES
Head of Care and Support
Responsible to: Chief Executive Officer
£40,876.00- £43,718 p.a -Subject to qualifications and experience
37.5 hours per week
Wigton, Cumbria.
Chrysalis supports individuals with learning disabilities across North Cumbria to live rich and fulfilling lives through our wide-ranging Community Activities, Enterprise and Supported Living provision.
You will have responsibility for working with the Senior Leadership Team to develop and translate our strategy into successful delivery.
With 80 staff and volunteers delivering 2,000 hours of support each week across currently 4 community activity opportunities, two Supported Living homes and outreach the postholder will also be our Registered Manager with CQC.
You will demonstrate professional leadership whilst inspiring your team to be as highly motivated and keen to drive innovation as you are, whilst ensuring all support is delivered to the highest quality, person centred and outcome focused.

Supported Living Support Worker Vacancies
Full Time, Part Time and Relief hours available
- £10.90- £11.05 per hour
- Double Time Bank Holidays
- £50 sleep in rates

This opportunity is on the outskirts of Wigton supporting Individuals to live as independently as they can within their own shared, fabulous farmhouse. This includes promoting ‘at life’ skills and a range of activities. We want the people we support to be active and independent.
Full training will be provided so no experience in support work is required.
We are looking for people with the right attitude, skills and interests who are passionate about working with people.
Support is provided 24/7 so various hours and shifts are available.

From our base in Wigton, Chrysalis supports adults with disabilities, with a strong focus on those with learning disabilities, to live their best lives. We want the people we support to be active and independent.
We want you to work with individuals to develop and build on people’s abilities, enabling them to develop their strengths and interests and to have an active role in their community.
The role will include Supporting individuals to undertake activities in the community such as Swimming, going to the cinema, walking, cycling sailing, supporting people to socialise, gain confidence and develop their skills.
Full training will be provided so no experience in support work is required.
