This week we celebrate Trustees week!

There are approximately 196,000 charities in the UK and just over 1 million trustees…

Chrysalis is an organisation that works with passion and integrity supporting adults with disabilities across North Cumbria. This is an exciting time for us as we develop our services in line with our strategic plan.

We would like to say a huge thank-you to our trustees who devote their time and expertise to Chrysalis.

Chrysalis is governed by a board of 6 trustees who bring with them skills from all walks of life… Business management, Quality Assurance and compliance, Education, Caring experience, Learning and development, to name a few areas.

We are currently seeking to recruit trustees with a legal and / or strategic finance background.

The role of Trustee is not accompanied by any financial remuneration, although reasonable expenses for travel may be claimed. The time commitment includes attending up to 12 Board Meetings in Wigton annually plus additional financial sub group meetings and the Charities Annual General Meeting.
