Pam our business manager visited Watchtree Nature Reserve for her guest appearance on BBC Radio Cumbria.
Watchtree is based in Wiggonby and in addition to being a Nature Reserve, they have an excellent array of bicycles for all abilities. This enables many disabled adults and children enjoy the experience of riding a bicycle in a safe environment away from traffic. Many of them using one of the specially designed cycles which helps them achieve the experience of cycling where previously they may not have been able to do so, as the cost of buying a special cycle themselves would be out of their reach.
Talking to Mike Zellar, Pam explained how our members thoroughly enjoy cycling at Watchtree and the great experience it provides and enjoyment it brings them.
